Why this exists

I built the tool I couldn’t buy.

Three dashboards each told me half the truth about my own income book. None could answer the one question that mattered, so I built the one that does.

The origin

The spreadsheet that broke.

I’m Jay Sharma. I run a seven-figure book: dividend growers, a core of index funds, and covered calls and cash-secured puts for income. The strategy worked. The tooling didn’t.

My broker bragged about the premium I collected and stayed quiet about the gains I capped and the capital I tied up. A dividend app tracked my payouts but couldn’t see my options. A spreadsheet tried to hold both and slowly turned into a part-time job: twelve tabs, a wall of VLOOKUPs, and a Sunday-night ritual of pasting in option fills and reconciling dividend dates by hand.

So I built a bigger spreadsheet. Then a bigger one. Then I admitted it would never answer the question I actually cared about:

“Premium collected isn’t profit. Net of fees, net of capped gains, net of the capital I tied up, what did this book actually earn me?”

No spreadsheet would ever price my options live, rate a dividend’s safety, or compute a real time-weighted return. It could store the data. It could never tell me what it meant.

The insight

The question no tool answers.

I tried every tool I could find. Portfolio trackers that had never heard of options. Options journals that had never heard of dividends. Broker dashboards that reported premium collected, a vanity metric, and called it a day.

None of them connected the streams. None could put the two honest numbers on the whole book: a time-weighted total return with dividends and price gains folded in, measured against the S&P 500, and ROCAR on the options beside it. Dividends, options, and total return behave like one income system, and every tool I tried insisted on tracking a third of it.

One view. Every income stream. Two honest numbers.

Jay Sharma, founder of One More Million

An income investor running the wheel on a seven-figure book: covered calls, cash-secured puts, and a core of dividend growers I’ve held for years. I use OMM every day to track my own positions, measure what they actually earn, and read the honest numbers on the whole book.

I built this because I needed it. I’m sharing it because I know other income investors need it too. The numbers in the screenshots come straight from a real account in the app.

What I believe

Principles

01

Income is the engine.

Most tools obsess over net worth, a number that floats with the market and means nothing until you sell. OMM focuses on income because income is the part of a portfolio you can actually spend, and the part you can measure against the capital you put at risk to earn it. Net worth is a number the market hands you. Income is a number you built.

02

The honest number wins.

Premium collected flatters you. ROCAR and total return tell you the truth. OMM always shows what you actually kept, net of fees, net of capped gains, net of the capital you tied up, even when the honest number is smaller than the brag.

03

Your data is yours.

Encrypted in transit. Never shared. Never sold. Never used to train AI. Every account exports to CSV whenever you want, and you can ask to delete your account at any time. Revenue comes from subscriptions. Full stop.

04

OMM never touches the trade.

OMM places no orders and connects to no brokerage. It shows you what your money is doing and what the numbers mean. Your broker executes. OMM measures.

05

No logins to hand over.

You add your positions yourself, so your brokerage credentials never leave your broker. Bulk CSV import is on the roadmap. When it ships, it will read a file you export from your broker, and we still won’t ask for your password.

06

Dark mode only.

One theme, built for reading numbers at night. Green gains and red losses carry more contrast on dark, and a dense table stays legible at the end of a long day. Every styling hour we save goes back into the math.

Trust

Non-negotiable

I will never sell your financial data.

I will never show you ads.

I will never offer sponsored content.

I will never give financial advice.

I will never hide pricing behind a “contact sales” button.

I will never pretend to have more users than I do.

If I can’t build a sustainable business on subscriptions from people who find this useful, I don’t deserve to.
